Christmas booking terms
The terms that apply to Christmas menu bookings at The Ship Aground.
Booking and deposit
Our Christmas menu is available by advance booking and pre-order only. A deposit is required at the time of booking. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit is deducted from your final bill.
The deposit is £50 for parties of up to 5, £100 for parties of 6 to 14, and 25% of the food total for parties of 15 or more. If your food total is less than that, the deposit is your food total. The deposit is part of your bill, not an extra charge.
We take the deposit by card over the telephone, or in person at the pub, when we confirm your booking. Please never send card details by email or through our website.
Drinks and any extras agreed separately are charged in addition to the menu price.
Pre-orders
Please send your party’s names and menu choices at least 4 days before your visit. We will tell you how when we confirm your booking.
Changes after that date need our agreement, and we will let you know if we can make them.
Changes to your numbers
If your numbers or course choices change, please contact us. We will recalculate your booking and deposit and confirm any difference with you before anything is charged or refunded.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Please tell us about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when you book and in your pre-order. We review every request and will tell you what our kitchen can provide. We cannot promise that any dish is free from a particular allergen.
If you cancel
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel, subject to these terms. Any amount we keep reflects the loss your cancellation causes us, taking into account costs we save and any replacement booking we are able to take. If your deposit is more than that loss, we will refund the difference.
Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reduce your numbers.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel your booking, we will refund the payments you have made for it.
Your rights
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
